About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing psychotherapy to individuals in search of clarity, healing, and transformational change. I received my Masters in Social Work from NYU and completed post-graduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

I have over a decade of experience treating individuals with a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and challenges adjusting to life changes.

An additional focus of my work is in perinatal mental health. I offer prospective and new parents support and specialized knowledge of the particular issues that can arise during this time of life and transition.

My Approach

The most important element of effective treatment is a secure and trusting relationship with your therapist. I foster a warm, respectful, and open environment, with the goal of creating a safe space in which to deeply explore, understand, and transform. Our work will be collaborative, stemming from the belief that you are the expert in your life and story and that we will work together to explore how past experiences and narratives have shaped your current life, relationships, and self.

There is no one right reason to enter therapy. If you have come this far in your exploration of whether therapy is right for you, I encourage you to reach out. Whether you're facing a crisis, struggling with past trauma, or are feeling stuck in old patterns that are holding you back, you don't have to go it alone. We will begin wherever you're at, and go together from there.

I am currently offering in-person and virtual sessions.

While I am not in-network with any insurance plans, I am able to work with you to utilize out-of-network coverage for reimbursement by your insurance if your plan offers this. I also offer a limited sliding scale determined on an individual basis, if my standard fee is out of reach for you.

I am happy to offer a brief phone consultation at no cost in order to answer any questions and discuss billing, as well as determine if we might be a good fit for working together.
